Poco X7 Pro and HyperOS battery Optimisation Problem[Editiorial]

Poco X7 Pro is a highly anticipated smartphone and called a 2025 Flagship phone killer with its budget price and impressive specs. Be it the processor Mediatek Dimensity 8400 Ultra which is class leading and can approach Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 performance or great screen and upgraded camera one thing it has lagged behind is the battery life.

This is even with a massive 6550mAh battery for Indian and 6000mAh for Global variants yet compared to Poco X6 Pro which only has a 5000mAh battery, the improvement is about one hour as per benchmark done Techtablets and GSMArena.

 The results from both these tests shows that the battery life has improved only by one hour, even though battery capacity has increased by 1000mAh. This shows that HyperOS requires optimisation in battery usage and while adding new features was good, HyperOS 2 doesn't deliver much in terms of battery optmisations.

Hope Xiaomi sees this as a major issue and in coming updates can reach a much more respectable battery life of 14 to 15hours similar to Oneplus Nord 4 in GSMArena test.
