Poco X6 Pro HyperOS 2 Pilot begins for India region[Lacks Major AI features]

 After a long wait the popular Poco X6 Pro has started releasing beta version to users who have signed up for Beta testing of stable ROM. We have a written an article on how to join as a Beta tester, if you are interested.

So once the beta testing is over and if no major bugs are found the update should be rollout to the general public in a couple of weeks. Now HyperOS 2 promises better performance, faster animations, better battery life and a whole suite of AI features including an AI assistant although latter is missing in the Indian variant and other Global ROMs.

If you are keenly following HyperOS 2 development you will be noticing that advanced AI features, lockscreen customisations and dynamic wallpapers are missing. While these are already available in the Chinese variant it may still take some more time to come to Global variants including Indian variants.

We have downloaded and installed the HyperOS 2 version in out Poco X6 Pro and currently going through the changes. The initial impression is that the phone feels much faster, with faster app loading and animations. The battery life doesn't feel any different but we will wait till a few days to come up with the final result.
