The Poco Sub brand by Xiaomi is known for releasing smartphones with high end features with an affordable price. They started in 2018 with Iconic Poco F1 which was considered to be a true flagship killer at that time and had many fans.
While there where some issues like motherboard issues which had given them a bad name they had recovered and had launched successful models like Poco F6 and Poco X6 Pro gaining market share in countries like India.
In this backdrop the announcement for Poco Global website to shutdown came as a surprise to all the fans. All the Poco websites will be closed by 31 Decemeber 2024 and will be moved to the parent Xiaomi Global website like the Redmi subbrand. This includes product pages, customer service, after-sales service and warranty.
The Poco Store will be shutdown but all points, coupons will be moved to Xiaomi store and will not be lost according to Gizchina.
