HyperOS sets the refresh rate automatically while most apps will run on 120Hz by default there are certain apps like YouTube which will stick to the 60Hz refresh rate. In this article we would like explain the steps to force any app to a specific refresh rate.
Step 1: Go to settings and select the Display and Brightness option
Step 2: Scroll down and select the Refresh rate option
Step3: Select the custom refresh rate and choose the 120Hz option
Step 4: Next select the Apps using high refresh rate option
Step 5: Choose the app you want to force the refresh rate for example search for YouTube and turn on the option which will force it to always run on 120Hz or turn off to force it run only on 60Hz
