Poco X6 Pro, budget flgship killer from Xiaomi also kown as Redmi K70E has got a new HyperOS update. After the previous update two months before this new update which is faster than the committed three months update frequency.

The update is of size 155MB and brings the July Security patch update.

In my initial impressions I found the animations to be more snappier other than that we couldn't find any major updates. The Poco X6 Pro 1.5 update has started releasing for China region and we are expecting a release by Q3 2024 for Global models outside China.
The major issue that is being faced by many is unfortunately the very high battery usage especially on Mobile Data. Hope Xioami puts its effort to optimise the battery level to atleast bring it near to 8 and 9 hours screen on time like it's competitors compared to 5 to 6 hours currently.
May be an option to reduce the screen resolution to 1080p and automatic switching to 4G when phone is in Idle could make an improvement.
