Xiaomi has started releasing a major update for HyperOS called HyperOS 1.5 in China region. It brings a whole lot of changes including,

The update for Chinese region includes,
- Optimize application preloading and improve application startup speed
- Optimize the system resource recovery strategy when switching applications to improve application fluency
- Reduce memory usage
- New travel assistant widget, with intelligent reminder of train and airplane itinerary
- Bug fixes for File Manager, Gallery and Status bars
Hope atleast the performance improvements comes to the Global editions. We have to also wait and see whether the AI features already available for Poco F6 also makes an entry or probably we have to wait till HyperOS 2.0 update. A major disappointment there is no mention of battery usage improvements which is a major complain by Poco X6 Pro users.
As per reports by Twitter user @SUNNY the update will be released for Global region by Q3 2024 which will be by September probably following the three month cycle of Xiaomi..
