HyperOS has some hidden gestures or shortcuts attached to its fingerprint reader which allows you to access few features quickly. The feature is a continuation of the same from MIUI.
First of all you need to enable it from the settings menu and we will discuss the steps to do that.
Step 1: Go to settings and go to the Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock option.
Step 2: Select the fingerprint unlock option and enter your pin on the security screen
Step 3: Select the shortcut options
Step 4: Enable the Fingerprint shortcuts option
By default you will get three shortcuts,
There are three shortcuts one for barcode reader, another for search and another for saving an event. Unfortunately there is no way to customise this with our own selection of actions. Xiaomi should add option to customise the shortcuts. More gesture support could also be added.
