HyperOS how to do a factory reset

Factory reset allows you to refresh your smartphone completely removing the data and settings in your phone.  This will help you to speedup your smartphone and remove unwanted apps and settings that are causing errors.

So how do you perform factory reset in HyperOS smartphones? This article gives steps to perform the same.

Method 1: Through settings

Step 1: Open settings application and go to about phone

Step 2: Scroll down to Factory reset option and select it

Method 2: Through Recovery Mode

In order to enter recovery mode do the following steps

Step 1: Go to about phone as in the above step 1 for method 1

Step 2:Press the Xiaomi HyperOS icon

 Step 3: Press the three dots on the top right corner

 Step 4: Select Reboot to Recovery Mode

 Alternatively you can boot up your phone by pressing volume up to reach the Recovery Mode.

Step 5: Select the Erase Data option by pressing Power button
