Poco X6 Pro India Update 1.0.6.0 released with fix for poor battery life

A new update for Poco X6 Pro India region 1.0.6.0 has been released just a week after version 1.0.5.0 had been released. Poco X6 Pro the latest in Pocos X series promised flagship level performance with its very powerful Mediatek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor.

While it delivered impressive Antutu scores similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 used in One Plus 11 and had good overall features for under Rs. 30,000, the users had complained about,

• Poor battery life with less than one day of screen on time
• Overheating even in daily tasks

With that said to everyone's surprise Poco has released a new update with in the span of a week, 

 

 

 

The download size is of only 261MB and the change log of the update includes,

• Optimization:System power consumption
• Updated Android Security Patch to March 2024
• Increased System Security

The first change is very promising as it can bring a solution to Poco X6 Pro's poor battery performance which they may have traced to some system features or applications.

I will update this post once I use this new version for a day or two.
