How to change DNS to Google custom DNS in HyperOS

 DNS or Domain Name Service is a major component of your internet connection which converts the web address(URL) you type to IP addresses which is required to establish a connection to the website you are requesting. A slow DNS can cause slow connection even though your mobile network or WiFi connection is working properly.

By default you will be using  DNS provided by internet service provide like your mobile network which can be slow, less security and may block some websites. Using Google DNS you will get access to faster connection speeds, more security as it will use encryption and allow you to access more websites.

The following are the steps to set up Google DNS in your HyperOS phone,

Step 1: Go to your settings application

Step 2: Select the setting More connectivity options

Step 3: Next select the option for private DNS


Step 4:This will open a page with three options off, automatic and Private DNS provider hostname, choose the last option,


Step 5: You will be asked to enter the Private DNS provider hostname where you can enter dns.google


Now you are all set and you can click save and the phone will be using Google's custom DNS service.
